Balcony

Tina, a troubled teenage girl, is attracted to Dana, an Afghani girl. Initially, we trust Tina and admire her protectiveness of Dana from the kids at school and on the violent estate, but as we watch their friendship blossom we come to suspect that something is off.

In just sixteen minutes, BALCONY explores such complex issues as racial prejudice and domestic abuse with unflinching honestly and profound sensitivity. This being said, BALCONY includes graphic depictions of violence against women, including rape and assault. Viewer discretion is advised.
